I have added the Word Press Super Cache plugin to the wordpress installation, so now Fogelberg.com loads much faster than before.
Yes! Tomorrow is my last day at work and then my four week summer vacation will FINALLY begin. I have been working on a new tune for a while but now it’s (hopefully) almost finished. I will post it on Soundcloud when it’s done. Then I will start on another remixing project of a Japanese artist.
Dutch DJ Eelke Kleijn has put my remix of Ricky Ryan’s track “Tokyo Tales” at number 4 on his top top list for June 2010.

I’ve been pretty sick for the last week or so but now I’m slowly getting back to “normal”. I’m working on a new track which I hope to finish soon. And the weather is finally getting better in Sweden which does add to the inspiration. The winter has been too long.
I just got my first photos accepted for licensing on the photo library site iStockphoto. I’m really happy about this because they have rather high standards to get accepted. Check it out!

A sad day.. Another of my heroes has died. :( I first became aware of Ronnie James Dio’s incredible voice and interesting lyrics when Holy Diver became a hit in Sweden – this was back in the year of our lord 1983. I found out he had been the singer in Black Sabbath and Rainbow previously to his solo carrier. After a while I had bought all those albums as well. Inho, Black Sabbath’s Heaven and Hell and Mob Rules are two of the best heavy metal albums ever released.
It took me 2-3 days to get everything working again but now finally my computer runs Windows 7. Everything seems to work, even my old Yamaha DSP Factory sound card. I opened up a couple of tracks I’m working on and Cakewalk Sonar seems to work including, almost, all the plugins. Now I can concentrate on making music again.
I’ve been waiting for the right time to update from Windows XP. When my old hard drive started to act funny the other day I saw this as a acute reason to get a new one and install Windows 7 in the process.
Why hasn’t this been done earlier? Well, I guess it’s a combination of lazyness and the fact that everything was still working well on XP.
I have some older hardware, like the Yamaha DSP Factory sound card, that wasn’t supported in Vista. Thus the long wait.
Anyway… So yesterday I installed Windows 7, the 64 bit version.. bad mistake. Afterwards I found out that I could only use my older hardware, and their 32 bit drivers, on the 32 bit version of Windows 7. So now I have to reinstall Windows 7 again – 32 bit version this time. Oh happy happy. I just want to make music…
